The EvaKool Down Under II in 80L and 95L is built for caravans and long stretches on the road. Two zones sit under twin lids, the fridge is made in Queensland, and EvaKool rates it to keep cooling in outside temperatures up to 43°C. Both sizes share a 967 × 530mm footprint that fits most caravan fridge slides.

EvaKool Caravan Fridge Freezers

The 80L and 95L Down Under II are EvaKool's caravan fridge freezers, made in Burpengary East, Queensland, and rated to keep cooling in a hot van hatch at up to 43°C outside. Run one side as a fridge and the other as a freezer, or switch a side off to save power.

The Bluetooth app lets you check and change both zones without opening the hatch. Tie down points on all four sides and a 12/240V adaptor in the box make it ready for the road and the powered site.

EvaKool Caravan Fridges FAQs

What size caravan fridge do I need?

The 80L suits a couple or small family on a longer trip. The 95L gives more room for a family or for long stretches between shops. Measure the space in your van first, including the height and the room you need to open the lids.

Can it run on 12V and 240V?

Yes. It runs from 12V through an Anderson-style plug, and a slimline 12/240V adaptor is included for powered sites and home. The display shows which power source it's running on.

Will it flatten my battery?

The Down Under II has 3-level battery protection, so it switches off before your battery drops too low. Running it on Eco or switching one zone off uses less power. How long your battery lasts depends on its size, your charging setup and the weather.

Can I use a fridge slide in a caravan?

Yes, if there's room for it to extend. The large EvaKool fridge slide lists the 80L and 95L as compatible, extends to 1853mm and is rated to 80kg. Allow about 35mm extra height.

What warranty comes with it?

EvaKool covers the Down Under II with 5 years on the fridge freezer and 7 years on the Secop compressor, with service agents across Australia.
