JLM Diesel DPF Spray – Fast, Effective DPF Cleaning Without Removal

JLM Diesel DPF Spray is a high‑strength aerosol cleaner designed to quickly dissolve soot, carbon, and particulate build‑up inside diesel particulate filters — without dismantling the DPF. It’s the fastest, most cost‑effective way for workshops to get vehicles back on the road while maintaining strong profit margins.

Ideal for Vehicles With:

  • Illuminated DPF warning lights

  • Failed particulate/emissions tests

  • Short‑trip driving habits

  • Loss of power or rising fuel consumption

Short journeys and low exhaust temperatures prevent proper regeneration, causing soot accumulation. JLM Diesel DPF Spray restores full DPF flow, helping the engine breathe again and perform as intended.

How It Works

JLM Diesel DPF Spray contains a high concentration of active cleaning agents that:

  • Break down soot, carbon, and particulate deposits

  • Lower the combustion temperature of trapped particulates

  • Allow faster, earlier burn‑off during forced regeneration

  • Restore exhaust flow and reduce backpressure

Use the spray directly into the DPF prior to a forced regeneration (test drive or OBD). The result: a cleaner filter, improved engine performance, and a higher chance of passing emissions testing.

Workshop Benefits

  • No DPF removal required

  • Quick turnaround for customers

  • Strong margin opportunity

  • Effective on stubborn short‑trip soot loading

  • Compatible with all diesel engines and all DPF types

One can treats one DPF. The formula is non‑flammable, ash‑free, metal‑free, and evaporates without residue.

JLM Diesel DPF Spray Professional Use Procedure

1. Wear Protective Gear

Safety First

Personal protection is essential when working with aerosol cleaners and hot engine components.

  • Put on gloves and safety goggles

  • Ensure the workspace is well‑ventilated

2. Warm the Engine

Setup

Heating the engine ensures the DPF and surrounding components reach optimal cleaning temperature.

  • Start the engine and let it reach normal operating temperature

  • Switch the engine off before proceeding

3. Remove DPF Sensors

Removing sensors provides direct access to the DPF for proper spray application.

  • Locate the temperature and/or pressure sensor

  • Carefully remove the sensor(s) to expose the DPF inlet

4. Apply JLM DPF Spray

Recommended

The spray dissolves soot and carbon deposits inside the filter.

  • Insert the spray pipe and nozzle into the sensor opening

  • Spray the entire contents of the can into the DPF

  • Ensure even distribution throughout the filter

5. Reinstall Sensors

Sensors must be refitted before regeneration to ensure correct system readings.

  • Refit the temperature and/or pressure sensor securely

6. Add JLM DPF Cleaner

Optional Boost

Adding DPF Cleaner enhances the regeneration burn‑off process.

  • Pour JLM DPF Cleaner into the fuel tank before regeneration

7. Regenerate the DPF

Regeneration burns off loosened soot and completes the cleaning process.

  • Use a diagnostic tool to initiate forced regeneration

  • Alternatively, perform a test drive to trigger regeneration

8. Clear Error Codes

Final system checks ensure the vehicle leaves the workshop without warnings.

  • Scan the ECU for error codes

  • Clear any stored faults after successful regeneration
