What makes the ARMAX different
The ARMAX is Safari's performance snorkel range. It has a 4 inch air ram and a wider body than a traditional Safari snorkel, so more air reaches the engine, which suits vehicles with performance upgrades like a remap or larger exhaust. The air ram also works as a water separator, removing rain from the incoming air.
Why fit a snorkel?
A snorkel raises your engine's air intake to roof height, where the air is cleaner, cooler and further from the dust kicked up on dirt roads and the water at creek crossings. That means less dust reaching your air filter, and more protection for your engine on the tracks. A snorkel raises the air intake, but it doesn't waterproof the vehicle, so always check crossings before you drive in.
