What is WD40 used for?

WD40 Multi Use Product displaces moisture, loosens stuck parts, cleans and protects against rust. It's not a substitute for proper grease or lubricant where a specific product is specified.

What is multi purpose grease used for?

Multi purpose grease suits general lubrication, such as hinges, latches, some bearings and chassis points. Check whether a job calls for a specific grease, such as wheel bearing or high temperature grease.

Can I use WD40 on brakes?

No. Never use WD40, grease or oil on brake pads, rotors or friction surfaces. Use brake cleaner instead.

What lubricant should I use on rubber parts?

Use a silicone based or rubber safe lubricant. Petroleum based products can swell or damage some rubber seals and bushes.
