The Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP steering damper suits the Toyota Landcruiser 76, 78 and 79 Series from 2007 onwards. Sold individually.

Highlights

  • Steadier steering on big tyres. It takes the load off your steering components when large, aggressive tyres start feeding kickback and wander through the wheel.
  • Consistent damping. An internal floating piston keeps the oil and high pressure nitrogen apart, and the 2.0 inch 6061-T6 aluminium body sheds heat faster than steel.
  • Built to last. A 5/8 inch hard chrome plated, heat treated alloy steel shaft and quiet nitrile rubber bushes.

A good addition for touring or off-road work on larger tyres, or as a fresh replacement for a tired damper.

Before you order: it needs 2 x SDMBLC79 steering damper mounting bolts, sold separately. Some models may need the crush tube pushed out of the bush. It doesn't fit 6 cylinder 70 Series models.
