Dayco Poly-V Drive Belt, 10 Rib, 1695mm, 10PK1695

Dayco Poly-V Drive Belt, 10 Rib, 1695mm, part number 10PK1695.

Highlights

• The original Poly-V. Dayco developed the first Poly-V belt in 1979.
• Grips better than a V-belt. The flat, multi rib design puts more of the belt in contact with the pulley, so it slips less.
• Quieter running. A rubber impregnated fabric backing carries the load and helps keep belt noise down.

Dayco's Poly-V belt, also called a multi rib or serpentine belt, drives the engine's accessories such as the alternator, power steering pump and air conditioning compressor. The grooved design lets the belt flex easily in both directions, and Dayco treats the cord so the belt holds its length over its life. Dayco's heavy duty versions are a diesel grade construction made to handle the torque pulses of diesel engines.
