Sachs 316 395 MAX shock absorber.
Sachs is a ZF Aftermarket brand, and ZF supplies original equipment to vehicle makers.
Shock absorbers control how your springs move and keep the tyres in contact with the road. Worn shocks show up as bouncing over bumps, the nose dipping under braking, more body roll in corners and uneven tyre wear. Shocks are usually replaced in pairs on the same axle to keep handling even.
